Meg Esterkin is a Grand Rapids native who loves all creatures big, small, furry, and fluffy. Growing up she had a full house of fur and non-fur friends, including snakes, frogs, goats, and chickens. Her family was a foster home for a dachshund rescue, so no dog is too stubborn or sassy for her to handle! She recently relocated back to the area from California with her tattoo-artist husband, along with their fur-family, featuring two Tibetan Spaniel rescue dogs, a very grumpy Devon Rex kitty, and a chunky tabby cat named Samson. She works full time at Bauble Patch Jewelers in Comstock Park, and is currently working to get her graduate degree in Gemology. She's always happy to answer questions about jewelry or gems, and loves untangling balls of necklace chains. It's very zen. She one day hopes to buy a small country farm and have a small dog rescue of her very own.
